RG goes Australia
By: lobsman - Published 23.08.2008, 17:00 News Archive

After two somewhat disappointing games at the NGL qualifier, our WarCraft 3 roster needed some changes. For that we now add two more players to our ranks.

RevolutionGames gladly welcomes Andrew "mOOn-GLaDe" Pender and Phillip "Filthy" Edwards to our squad.

Andrew has been for a while now one of the most, if not the most consistent players in the Australian scene. He's an accomplished player with past WCG experience as well as loads of experience playing at a high level. Phillip is also a top-notch player and very consistent. Despite not being as well-known as Andrew, we are sure he will perform at a high level everytime duty calls. As it's been already said before, both of this players have a vast experience playing at a top level coming from teams such as eMg, TEAM-DELTA and Australia United.

RG.WC3 will be back in action playing on WPL-1, TFL, WHL and NGL-Two.

The RG.WC3 roster is now:

Abdulaziz "CrunCher" Abed
Phillip "Filthy" Edwards
Fahad "Nithala" Aladwani
Belgium Romain "FisT" Boulanger
Artem "TreSh" Mosyakin
Andrew "mOOn-GLaDe" Pender
Peter "DNA" Agardi
Gonçalo "Phoenix" Silva

Once again we would like to welcome both and wish them the best of luck playing under the RG tag.

"After a bad first round from both teams, we now face each other in the loser bracket. It's a pity that one of these teams will have to say goodbye to their NGL hopes today. Hopefully we have a great match by both teams, so if one of us has to leave the competition today, it shall be in great fashion. Good luck to everyone."

JSung
"The team is already put on the line after our first encounter. No more chance now, our roster has to show that they deserve to be in this qualifier against some very strong opponents from RG. With both teams deeply desiring to survive in this competition, this will promise us some very interesing games. With the hope of a pleasant and mannered confrontation, we wish the best of luck to all players!"

"First round of the NGL-Qualifiers. After a unsuccessful campaign last season, we're here to give it another try. With practice our players got better and a couple of player additions are two reasons for us to feel more confident this time.

We got a hard first game for a team with such an high seed as we have. eXpertise is a team with known chinese players, and their newest player, korean orc Violet. Even though their qualifier campaigns in other leagues weren't as good as people expected them to be, they still have a team filled with quality.

Hopefully the clan war is played smoothly with not many ping/spike problems from any of the teams. Good luck, have fun"

eX|DooKi
"We want to just say thank you to NGL for giving us the opportunity to compete in this qualifier. We will do the best we can and hope to give everyone the best matches they expect out of us. We would also like to thank NGL for giving us a tough opponent, so we can prove our strength in the NGL system.

We realize there are doubters, but for those who are supportive of us we appreciate it.

Lets do this."
